Antique French split-leg bloomers crafted in light-weight white cotton with delicate crochet lace trim at the hems. Designed with traditional open inseam construction and adjustable drawstring waist finished with a small mother-of-pearl button. Dating to the 1910s-20s, these would have been part of a bridal trousseau or carefully assembled undergarment wardrobe. A rare, beautifully preserved early 20th century underlayer-- equally poetic worn alone or styled under sheer garments.
